Specifications

Glad I got it
This saved my furnace so I had to come back to THC's website to review this device. I bought a new motor with this surge protector last summer per THC's recommendation. We had the power go out due to the winter weather here in Iowa. When the power came back on, I noticed no air was coming from the vents. Sure enough, I check the furnace, and the surge protector was black indicating it had taken a surge of electricity. I needed heat immediately, so I just plugged the old harness in directly, but have ordered a new one. Total lifesaver.

Zebra Vzpro ecmc motor surge protector
The surge protector was too long to fit in the space between the motor housing and the fan housing. I had to bend the suppressor in a contorted position to make it fit. I am not sure it wont be a problem later. I didn't want to install it but couldnt see throwing away a $65 unit. Hopefully it will do its job.
